Nowadays, BSMU Clinic is a medical and scientific base of Bashkir State Medical University. The Clinic has 650 beds. Bashkir Medical University has five hostels that can accommodate 2000 students. hostels are flat type i.e. with attached kitchen, toilet, and bathroom. All hostels are well furnished and fully air. The basic system is two or three students in one room. The academic year in Russia has two semesters. The first semester in Russian medical universities begins in September and ends in January. The second semester begins in February and ends in June. At the end of each semester, students are passing exams. After this, they have holidays: 2 weeks in winter (from 25th of January to 9th of February), 2 months in summer (from 1st of July to 30th of August).

Step 2: Once the student has made an informed decision to proceed with studying in Russia, they should submit a completed admission form, along with scanned copies of their 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets, NEET results, and either a passport or Aadhar card. The university’s admission officer will review your documents, and within seven days, the university will issue an admission or acceptance letter confirming the reservation of your seat.
Step 4: In this step, we will initiate the process of obtaining an Invitation Letter. At this stage, the student must provide their original passport. The Visa Invitation Letter is an official document that is required to obtain a visa from the embassy and is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The process of obtaining the Invitation Letter can be time-consuming, taking around one month to complete. Once the Invitation Letter is ready, the student will be required to pay the consultancy service charges.
Step 5: After receiving the Invitation Letter, the next step is to apply for a student visa at the Russian embassy. The visa application process usually takes 10-15 days. Once the visa is ready, the student will be informed about the date of travel to Russia. At this stage, the student will have to purchase an air ticket, or our team can assist them with the purchase of air ticket.
Step 6: Once the visa has been stamped, all original documents, including the passport, visa, and certificates, are returned to the student. This enables them to make necessary arrangements for foreign exchange (in US dollars) for paying university tuition fees and covering living expenses. Furthermore, a checklist of essential instructions and items required during travel will also be provided to the students. Now, students can begin preparing for their trip to Russia.
Step 7: The students must also ensure that they collect all the necessary documents, as these documents will be required to be presented at the university office upon their arrival. We recommend that students take printouts of all their admission-related documents, including the confirmation letter, invitation letter, visa, passport’s first and last page, and air ticket, and store them safely. Additionally, students are advised to keep a digital copy of these documents in their email for easy access and backup.
Step 8: Upon the students’ arrival in Russia, our team receives them at the airport and escorts them to the university hostel, guaranteeing their safety and security. The next day, our representative will provide guidance and support to help the students pay the college fees and other administrative fees, essential for enrollment into the MBBS program in Russia.
